Plosives.

Those sexy sounds that cause us to articulate a puff of air as we utter them. They really are the super stars of articulation. Get these right, pay them the respect they are due, and your speaking clarity will improve exponentially.

They can be formed by the pressing two lips together like /p/ and /b/. They can involve the subtle press of a tongue to upper teeth or the ridge just behind them like /t/ and /d/. They can even be formed in the back of the mouth, where the arch of your yawn resides, like /g/ and /k/. Team them with a vowel, lets say /a/ and give them a whirl.

These consonants are the window to your best, most articulate life.
