Special Edition: Choices

There are a lot of choices in a human experience. The act of giving voice to intention and thought is a choice. Deciding when to speak and when to breathe through is a choice. Deciding to extend more air outward and sing is most definitely a choice.

Despite the difficulty of some choices, they are an amazing boon. The ability to choose is a gift that is not granted to every person in every situation. Sometimes, always I hope, we must choose to protect those people with our choices as well.

To choose is the human condition and we should always, always want to choose. Our choices, and actions, are our only true belongings.

Today is Election Day. If you haven’t already voted. Go vote. Choose to be a part of the Nation rather an observer. Choose to be a part of Us rather than a You or a Them.
