Observe: Do You Meme It?

Memes. Those sometimes amusing, sometimes annoying, snippets that get copied and shared on the internet via social media. Even the most resistant among us has shared one.

Our speaking has a similar issue though more localized. We hear phrases or snippets of topics and we adopt them, sometimes without fully understanding them. This stat here, that mention of a study there, perhaps just an interesting "fact" heard at lunch -- All adopted and passed on without independent thought.

This is hard to observe in oneself, but it is crucial that we try. The voice will rise to meet the challenge if your understanding meets your intention.
